Thanksgiving morning...again...but this year it was about 45 degrees, overcast, breezy. Scared? Absolutely not! We had actually signed up for the 10K they offered this year. But recent floods caused cancellation of that event. The 5K was interesting. There was a gate across the road that the event people forgot to open before the run. We simply ran around the gate but those with strollers had a bit of a tough time getting around. Anyway, it was chilly but fun. This is the third year of the event and it keeps doubling in size. There were over 800 people this year...and it was packed. I wonder what they are going to do next year.
