Well the team arrived bright and early for this event. Our Biathlon teams were Cathy Schaeffler (runner) & Calvin Holderby (biker), Wes Filicsky (runner) & Adam Kalna (biker) and Eric Broadbent (run & bike). We also had several walkers to include Whitney Kalna and her mother. The recent rainy weather had caused some flooding of the roads in the flat lands of Illinios so the bike portion of the event had to be cancelled. Our runners posted an average 5-mile time of 47:56, or 9:35 per mile.
